The last few weeks have been a frantic rush to make sure all my interior clients are up to date (they mostly are), that the building project is all on schedule (it isn’t) and that anything anyone could ask me about it is written down as a reference somewhere. I have cleaned and organized the house to within an inch of its colorful life, and I have engaged my normal ninja packing skills. The children are organized, the grandparents are here and I still have a day to tie up loose ends and then, we are off to Europe for a month (a month!).
That feels very grown up (and slightly show-y off-y) to say but it is something we have been planning for about three years. My Husband is a keen obsessive when it comes to the Tour de France, so we are off to follow the tour and in his case, cycle some of it. I am probably not going to to either. I am pretty sure I am going to try and do as little as possible for as long as possible! Then we will end up back into Paris for four day before moving onto Copenhagen.
There the Husband will fly back home and I will fly on to the UK to spend some time in London and catching up with friends and family. I can’t believe we are finally going after all this planning and talking about it!
So I am pretty sure the Beautiful Bedlam is going to stay fairly idle while I have a holiday. I hope you won’t mind. But I will be sure to put up a few shots on my Instagram and FB, and I will post properly when I get back! Au revoir!
PS If you have an suggestions about where I should go while I am away – I am all ears!
